Joys of the Horsemen

"Give us winter blankets that fit, hot-pink leg wraps,
a new brand of fly repelent or, better yet,
bugs that eat bugs, and were downright delerious with joy."

"A golden horse, the smell of leather, silly talk about mud
and manure-these simple pleasures bind equestrians together."

Tag...you're it!

Hello, I'm joining the game of Tag...lol. Julia and Amy just tagged me and my blog on their blog, "For a Lack of Anything Better". The tag was for "Six Random Things", the rules are: link to the person who tagged you, list the rules, write six random things about yourself, and then tag about six people by leaving comments on their blog and letting the person who tagged you know that you've written the post.

1) Some of my favorite smells are; the smell of leather and a horse barn, the smell of a camp fire, the smell of delicious things(like brownies) baking in the oven, the smell of sea air, and the smell of freshly cleaned laundry.

2) I love to take long, event-full roadtrips!

3) I love the changing seasons, and have always felt that I wouldn't want to live in place where it is always warm or always chilly, but in the midwest where there is Autum, summer, winter, and spring. Call me crazy, but it's true! -each season has it's up's & it's down's-

4) I like to doodle alot while I do my school work. ~+%**:o) (there I go again!)

5) One of my (bad) habits is craking my nuckles.

6) Some of my favorite sodas are; Mello Yello, Rootbeer(the best kind is at the trail of history, even though it's bubble-less it is homemade & a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!), cream soda, Dr. Pepper, & well... Culver's has really good rootbeer too!

-THE END-

I tag:

Julia and Amy @ their blog For a Lack of Anything Better, Ella and Eleree @ their blog A Banner of Crimson.

P.S.
Julia, thanks so much for the help, it worked!

Horse Fact of the Week

Did you know that horses see through a band along the retina, packed with photoreceptors called the visual streak? This lets the horse see very clearly in a horizontal band across his field of view, but less clearly above and below the visual streak.

The eye of the horse is simply amazing!

New Name

Hey, everyone!
Just a heads up, I am going to change the name of my blog so don't freak if you visit my blog and it has a different name! The name will be "Hoofbeats of Life".

God Bless!

It's not even that cold out yet!(as you are probably thinking at this moment)-- Well, I understand. The moment I heard my mother announce she had bought EGNOG during her recent trip to the grocerie store, I was simply surprised, thinking--"egnog, how could you at 0nly the very begining of the fall season purcase anything like that?!"

Well, as you know, I did give in.--And BOY was it Yummy!!
Season's Greetings!-Nicole-

Horse Fact of the Week

Flashbacks

Here's a picture of me when I was around 12 or 13 holding one of my famous strawberry pizzas. Delicious!
